Hey Everybody ... for those of you whom I haven't already had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Tabatha. Donna and Grant
are also known as Mama and Daddy to me, and I am their favorite daughter. Since graduating from East Carolina
University in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, I have been living in
Hendersonville, and I am so proud to call these beautiful mountains my home.
I have been working as a state employee almost a year now in the Henderson County Clerk of Superior Court as a Deputy Clerk
in the Criminal Division, and I enjoy what I do. However, I feel the need to be more involved on a human service level so I
am actively searching for the most appealing graduate schools and programs around Western North Carolina that would fulfill
my interests. In some capacity I believe we should all strive to help our fellow man. But in the mean time, I stay active,
and busy, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I play recreational volleyball and softball on a regular basis and it's such
a great way to exercise, relieve stress and have fun.
In closing, I would like to note that I am occasionally still able to assist as a receptionist and retail manager for the
Salon, or a server/cashier in the Café, and it's such a refreshing change of environment. Since I was 14 I have been
involved with my parents dream in one capacity or another. Building and running a business is more involved than I ever
thought, but I did get some free business education. My employers and the other employee's that I work with make the best
team; I have never seen such a large group of people maintain such a positive, professional environment, yet preserve the
unique and individual qualities and talents they each possess. And no, I'm not being biased!
