Hello, my name is Shelby. At the age of 4, I moved to a much smaller Hendersonville and have watched it grow since then. I am a new homeowner, with my fiancée and "furry babies". Those would be 2 boxers and a cat.

I graduated from Blue Ridge Community College with an Associate Degree before continuing my training as a cosmetologist at BRCC. I have worked at The Salon and Day Spa for three years now, and couldn't be happier. I trained under Donna for a full year as an apprentice before taking on my own clientele. For the past year, I have been the assistant manager for the salon to make sure things run smoothly. It has always been my dream to work in a friendly, full service salon. How many people can say their dream came true? I know I can.

As a certified Pureologist, I am able to give the advice you will need to achieve the style you want. A Pureologist is someone trained in Pureology, which is one of the styling lines we carry at the salon. I strive to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. I specialize in cuts, colors, and facial waxing. Want a new style? Want a new color? Ask me. I look forward to seeing you at your appointment. If you want to have a great experience with an up-to-date stylist, give me a try. I work Saturdays and late on Wednesdays to accommodate those who also work during the week.
