Hello Friends and Neighbors, and welcome to our site. My name is Lindsey. I am a local girl born and raised in Asheville, so naturally I am in love with our beautiful mountains. I have been married to my husband for four wonderful years. We are excited about becoming first time parents soon and starting a family of our own. We are however already "parents" of two rescue doggies, Clyde and Rufus. Clyde is a Labrador retriever mix and Rufus is a terrier mix. Full of unconditional love, they are mans best friend indeed.

With my husband being a rock mason, he has been able to explore many beautiful local areas in the mountains. He has shown me some of the gorgeous views locally that just make me love my hometown that much more. We are grateful to be able to share this beautiful area as a family. The passions in my life include family and friends, fishing, camping, watching movies, playing games, and you know shopping's gotta be on this list too!

Because I grew up in my mothers' salon I knew this is what I wanted my career choice to be. I have been able to see many "before and afters". I always wanted to go to the "pamper" place mom always called work. I grew up learning that the smelly stuff was perms, and the different colored whipped cream was color, and the ladies that went under the machine that made you warm was rollersets. I loved to go on the special days of proms and weddings and watch the ladies leaving all fancy, being so excited and giggly. I am eager to see my little girl go through some of the same experiences as I did in the "pamper" place. For these reasons I am truly grateful for the passion that I have.

The creativity and the ability to transform a person's image is not to be taken lightly. After all, if you look good, you feel good. Since graduating from Blue Ridge College in cosmetology I have become a part of the team here at The Salon and Day Spa. One of the reasons I chose this team is the continuing education that is offered. I was also able to quickly tell that everyone here is not only a team but also a family. With three instructors located here you truly have an opportunity to become a cut above the rest. I look forward to meeting you and sharing my expertise.
