Hi there Hendersonville, my name is Kadyda and I was born in Wilmington, North Carolina. How lucky am I to be living in this beautiful part of the world, and what a great place to raise my kids. I graduated from East Rutherford High School and have been a cosmetologist since 1997. My children, 13 year old Trellis and 5 year old K.J. keep me young, and very busy. Trellis has been gifted with intelligence and knows the importance of education. Normally an A/B honor roll student, with just a few C’s here and there, cycling and football are at the top of his passion list. K.J. starts kindergarden soon which makes me thankful he’s had a good role model in his brother. The love interests in my life are of course friends and family, anything related to beauty, church and related activities, enjoying the mountains and other areas whenever we can, and of course a woman has to shop right ?

While searching for a more professional place to build my business, I discovered Donna and Grant here at The Salon and Day Spa. They showed me warmth and compassion right from the start, made myself and my clients feel welcome and proved to me that professionalism and fun can indeed go hand in hand. Continuing education is a priority here, as witnessed by the three instructors they have on staff. Great people, great staff and almost every service you can imagine, even a café! What’s not to love ?

My expertise lies in the application of hair extensions, weaves and dreadlocks. Using top quality products ensures that your ‘new’ hair will be absolutly beautiful, only longer, thicker and fuller. I am also grateful to be able to provide for those less fortunate in life (those with cancer and extensive hair loss) with the appearance they desire. And let’s face it, if you look good, you feel better about yourself. Never underestimate the power of our minds. Like most of those in my profession I am a giver, I enjoy creating the look that makes you the individual you want to be. We will consult about styles, colors, lengths and exactly how to maintain your hair. You may even speak with my existing clientele to hear what they have to say. We can also use our Cyber Imaging System so that you can ‘see’ how your new style looks on you, BEFORE you have your service.
