Hello there, I'm Crystal, and I can honestly say I love my job and career! I am a native of Henderson County and consider myself blessed to live where we do. Our "City of Four Seasons" is the perfect place to grow up. My passions, which obviously include anything beauty, include my family and friends, shopping, surfing at the beach, and I really cook a mean breakfast ! I have danced competitively for the last 15 years and when I'm not practicing, I spend time with my boyfriend Scott and my other buddy, a solid black 3-year old kitty named Jasmine.

Originally I learned about the The Salon and Day Spa while on a tour from Blue Ridge college. Besides the people, what impressed me the most was their "Never Stop Learning" approach to education, if you want to distinguish yourself in whatever you choose for your life's work, you should never stop learning ! With instructors on staff here it was an easy decision for me. Because of my cosmetololgy background I became certified in the "Look Good, Feel Better" program given through the American Cancer Society. This course assists cancer patients with applying make-up, hairpieces and wigs, as I am a firm believer in helping those less fortunate.

I specialize in being creative with all the hair services I provide, which include cutting, coloring, and styling. In addition to everything hair, I am also a skilled in the art of make-up and can perform elegant up-dos for those special events, such as weddings or proms. For the last two years I have been the resident make-up artist for the salon. Little did I know my dance background would come into play with my career choice! When you are in my chair, you receive a consultation that will help me custom fit a look that is tailored to your wants, needs and lifestyle. My goal is for every client to leave satisfied and yearning to return, because they know they can expect complete satisfaction with every visit.

I am a firm believer that when a person is happy with their appearance, they feel better about themselves. You will see that I am very passionate about what I do, and I love to help people! I am taking new clients, and walk-ins are more than welcome.
